About
I'm Raymond — most people online know me as Pancake. This site is my actual bench: the keyboards, mice, PCs, prints, and photos I make when an idea won't leave me alone.
It started with wanting a keyboard that sounded right and spiraled from there — lubing switches at midnight, then mice, then whole PCs, then a printer for the parts nobody sold.
These days the bench does a bit of everything: gasket-mount boards, featherweight mice, quiet tidy PC builds, functional CAD prints, and macro photography of all of it.
I build things I'd want to own, document them honestly, and take on commissions when the project sounds fun. If it fits on the bench, I'll take a look.
What I care about
Everything here is built and tested by hand — no drop-shipped filler, no stock-photo props.
Real specs, real turnaround, real photos. If a print can't be done well, I'll say so.
Tidy internals, tight tolerances, and parts chosen to survive — not just to hit a price.
How it works
Request a quote or upload a model — it's just a note, no charge.
For builds we hop on a quick call to nail down scope; prints get sliced.
You get a real price to approve before anything is charged.
Custom build, a part nobody sells, or a model you need printed — let's talk.
I make it on the bench, keep you posted, and ship it (US).
